Born and raised in a small town of Maharashtra, his early life was shaped by challenges that are familiar to many young Indians. Limited guidance, economic struggles, and the realities of growing up in a modest settlement could easily have restricted his ambitions. However, the values and discipline instilled by his family became the foundation of his journey.
Despite financial difficulties and the absence of proper career guidance, he remained committed to education. From an early age, he carried a strong desire to serve the nation and contribute to society. Like many young people inspired by national service, he dreamt of joining the armed forces. However, due to a lack of proper mentorship and direction, that dream could not materialize. The disappointment was significant, but instead of giving up, he chose another path of service.
Determined to continue learning, he completed his graduation in Physics and later earned a Diploma in Industrial Safety Engineering. With these qualifications, he received opportunities for stable employment and attractive salary packages. Yet deep inside, he felt a different calling. He realized that professional success alone would not fulfil his purpose.
Before pursuing his larger mission, he first fulfilled his responsibilities toward his family. He worked to ensure financial stability at home, supported his younger brother’s career journey, and took care of his mother’s health needs. Only after securing his family’s well-being did, he decide to take the next step toward his personal vision.
He moved to Pune, a city known for education and social thought, where he enrolled in the Master’s program in Philosophy at Savitribai Phule Pune University. This period became a turning point in his life. Alongside academics, he actively connected with various social organizations and community initiatives. These experiences helped him understand the realities of youth, society, governance, and citizenship at a deeper level.
Today, his academic background includes M.A. in Philosophy, Master of Social Work (MSW), B.Sc. in Physics, and Industrial Safety Engineering. More importantly, he brings over 15 years of hands-on experience in community development, youth empowerment, social awareness, and citizen engagement.
Currently, Kaustubh is actively associated with CYDA (Centre for Youth Development and Activities), an organization dedicated to youth development and community engagement. Through his work with CYDA, he continues to contribute to leadership development, youth participation, and social transformation initiatives at the grassroots level.
Over the years, he has conducted numerous workshops, training camps, awareness programs, and interactive sessions for young people, educational institutions, and community groups. His work covers a wide range of subjects including life skills, responsible citizenship, constitutional values, civic sense, digital literacy, financial literacy, gender sensitization, media awareness, and youth leadership.
His learning journey has also been strengthened through participation in programs and workshops organized by respected institutions such as UNICEF, TISS, and other leading social development organizations. These experiences have provided practical insights that he continuously applies in grassroots initiatives.
What makes his work unique is his belief that youth are not merely beneficiaries of development but active partners in nation-building. He strongly believes that India’s future will be shaped by informed, responsible, and socially conscious young citizens. Yet, despite being called the world’s youngest nation, many young people continue to remain unheard, underrepresented, and disconnected from opportunities that can help them realize their potential.
Recognizing this challenge, he has dedicated his life to youth awakening and youth empowerment. His mission is ambitious yet deeply meaningful—to reach and inspire one million young people through awareness, guidance, leadership development, and civic participation.
To support this vision, he has launched digital platforms such as Janvivek.com, Vishwalens.com, and Navjagar.com. Through these initiatives, he promotes citizen awareness, social dialogue, youth engagement, and fact-based public discussions. These platforms are designed not merely as websites but as spaces where ideas, responsibility, and constructive thinking can grow.
